Research Areas

My research focuses on three domains: water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), early childhood development (ECD), and nutrition. My work on WASH and ECD is primarily based in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, using large-scale randomised controlled trials combined with novel data collection methods such as lab-in-the-field experiments. My research on nutrition focuses on the UK, where I analyse large-scale secondary data as part of the NIHR-funded Healthy Weight Policy Research Unit. A central theme across my work is understanding how interventions can be designed and delivered effectively at scale, in close collaboration with governments and implementing partners.
